A loan of $700 helped to buy more raw materials like paint, screens, and shirts for her printing business.

Jocelyn's story

Jocelyn is very thankful for the financial assistance that has been extended to her as it has enabled her to buy products needed for her printing business. Her loan has also been helpful for the education of her children, while income from her business assisted with her family's everyday expenses. She and her husband are both working hard to provide for their family.

Jocelyn would like to apply for another 30,000 Philippines pesos (PHP) loan to buy greater quantities of raw materials for her business like paint, screens, and shirts. Her profits will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs and the educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this increased income with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Jocelyn dreams that her business will continue to flourish and hopes to give her children a good life and education. She meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week, where she also finds strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

*All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital and repay microfinance loans.
