Rhea's story

Rhea is a 35-year-old farmer living at Alcala. She is married and has two children attending school.

The couple plant and harvest corn to sell. According to Rhea, generated income from her farming was able to sustain her family’s needs and now she wants to obtain better crop production.

Aside from farming, Rhea also raises hogs to sell as her additional family source of income.

With her determination to make her farming productive, she is borrowing a loan of PHP 25,000. She will use this amount to buy fertilizers and insecticides used in farming. She hopes to keep maintaining good harvests from her farming business for the welfare of her family.
