Jackline's story

Jackline is 23 years old. She is the first born in a family of five. She feels that she has a responsibility to do her best in all her endeavors because her siblings look up to her to set a pace. She enjoys using technology because it brings people and organizations together.

When she achieves her goals she would like to mentor young girls in her community. She has taken a loan of KES 85,000 to pay for an internship program at NetHope Academy. This will enable her to gain skills and experience required in the job market.

In the next 5 or 10 years she sees herself as a role model for girls in her community and being a professional information system auditor and an IT consultant.
She gets inspiration from her parents to work towards her goals. Her parents came from a poor background and they have taught her to work hard and never take any opportunity for granted.
