Niño Ana Maria's story

Ana María, 49, is married living with her husband and two children in the community of Tarapacá in the rural part of Zaña, a district dedicated to commerce and agriculture which is an activity made easier by the irrigation project done by the Mochica people. It’s located an hour and 45 minutes from the city of Chiclayo belonging to Lambayeque Region in northern Peru.

They are a unified family that strives to improve their living conditions. Ana María works selling prepared food and is known for this work; her husband leases his mototaxi.

She’s asking Edpyme Alternativa for a 2,000 new sol loan to buy ingredients for her meals and to buy small animals the latter to meet unmet demand and to earn higher income this way.
