A loan of $800 helped to buy staple products to open a store at home.

Haydee De La Paz's story

54-year-old Haydee finished secondary school. She is currently married and her husband works in a metal workshop. She has two children.

She has been working as a housekeeper for seven years, and prepares lunch for teachers from her community’s school. She is requesting a loan at Fundación Campo to open a store at home. She will buy staple products, thinking that there are a church and a school close to where she lives, which represent potential business. She would improve her living conditions. With the profits, she would cover the basic expenses and help her husband to maintain their family, since he is paying for everything at the moment.

Her dream is to expand her business in the future, save some of the profits and pay back the loan. She hopes, if everything goes as planned, that she can request a loan to stock her store.
