Norik lives in the village of Nerqin Hand, which is in the Syunik region. For many years, Norik worked as a forester. He now works as an inspector at the local reserve. Norik is married and has two sons, both of whom are married and living separately with their families. Norik’s wife works as an English teacher at the local school but, at the same time, she greatly helps her husband in his farming and agricultural activities. In his farm, Norik breeds tree calves, thirty chickens, and several beehives. He says the income from farming is too low, but if there is an opportunity to expand it he will manage run it cleverly and with a good profit.

He asks for a loan of 900,000 Armenian drams in order to buy a few sheep, piglets, and animal fodder.
