ALODOALOME est un groupe composé de trois personnes qui résident dans le même village. Le représentant du groupe, nommé Sonagnon Angelbert (celui qui a la main levée sur la photo) est âgé de 36 ans. Sonagnon Angelbert est marié à une revendeuse du nom de Joséphine. Le couple a deux enfants, tous scolarisés et à sa charge. En dehors de ses enfants, le couple a un autre enfant à sa charge. Sonagnon Angelbert vit avec sa femme et ses enfants. Les charges de la maison sont supportées par le couple. Pour subvenir aux besoins de sa famille, Sonagnon Angelbert fait l'élevage des coquelets depuis trois ans dans sa région, et les revend. Sonagnon Angelbert s'approvisionne dans sa région. Dans le but de développer son activité, Sonagnon Angelbert s’associe aux autres membres du groupe ALODOALOME pour solliciter un deuxième crédit auprès de ALIDé. Le crédit antérieur a été bien remboursé.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients.
