A loan of $1,000 helped to pay off debt to another institution.

Marisela Yamileth's story

Marisela, 25, is a high school graduate and single mother of a son not yet attending school. They live with her mother and brother.

She sells tostadas, nougat candy, yucca, sweets, and churros of all kinds. She also sells clothing and cosmetics products by catalog. She has always had the same business. Her home is located about ten meters from where she conducts her business. She walks to work and works Monday through Sunday from 8:30 in the morning to 1:30 in the afternoon.

The loan she is requesting is for paying off a debt with another institution since the interest is very expensive and for investing in inventory through which she aims to achieve better profits, save money, and increase her stock so that she can give a better future to her son.
