A loan of $2,075 helped buy sheep.

Begayim's story

Begayim is 48, married, and raising 3 children together with her husband. She has the equivalent of a high school education, and raises livestock for a living. She has been at it for 20 years, having originally started with 5,000 somoni worth of animals. Thanks to her persistent efforts, Begayim currently has 3 heifers on her farm, while her monthly income stands at 15,000 somoni. To further develop her farm, Begayim is seeking a loan of 100,000 somoni; specifically, she would like to buy some sheep for her farm. She plans on using her additional earnings to save money for building a new home, in addition to reinvesting in her farm by continuing to buy more animals.
