Rahmat's story

Rahmat is 54 years old. He is married to Manzura and lives with his wife, daughter in law and grandson in the city of Khujand. Rahmat has spent 20 years working as an engineer for the city council. At the same time he also bred poultry. Now Rahmat wants to fulfil his long-held dream. He plans to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather and work producing ropes. At the moment he is not working and is concentrating all his attention and strength on opening a profitable business in the trade just mentioned. With the money from a loan he plans to buy equipment to produce ropes. He will be helped in work in this field by experience gained from his grandfather. Rahmat has accumulated savings from poultry farming and he wants to spend this money, together with the loan, on the purchase of equipment because it is very expensive.
