Norma Esperanza's story

Norma is 48 years old and a single mother. She has three children and lives in the village of La Lima, department of Cortes. She worked for a banana company for several years. Out of the need to get an income, she decided to start her food sales business such as meals, tamales, refreshments, sweets, churro fritters, crackers, etc. The loan she's requesting is for 10,000 lempiras and she'll use it to purchase supplies such as meat, beans, flour and butter for making food, and also refreshments, churro fritters and sweets for selling. With this investment she hopes to increase her sales and make a good profit. She's motivated to keep on working and make her business grow.
