Domingo is dedicated to protecting his family. He works in a health centre as a technician in the epidemiology department. Domingo is married and has a young son, whom he gives the necessary support in order to look after and educate him. Domingo needs to make improvements to his house and so has come to Ceprodel in order to apply for a loan to buy cement, sand, zinc, and purlins, and to pay labourers. With this he can achieve his objective and improve his living conditions and quality of life.
Domingo es un hombre dedicado a la protección de su familia, labora en un centro de salud como técnico epidemiológico, es casado con un hijo pequeño al que le da el apoyo necesario para sus estudios y cuido personal, este señor tiene la necesidad de mejorar su casa, por eso llego a ceprodel para solicitar un crédito el cual lo utilizará en la compra de materiales de construcción tales como cemento, arena, zinc, perlines y el pago de mano de obra y lograr el objetivo planteado y de esa manera mejorar sus condiciones y nivel de vida.
This loan is administered by Centro de Promocion del Desarrollo Local (CEPRODEL), one of Kiva’s larger partners in Central America. Founded in 1991 and based in Managua, Nicaragua, CEPRODEL specializes in the development and funding of housing cooperatives for traditionally marginalized communities, the provision of microfinance services to small businesses, and the promotion of innovative renewable energy projects. In addition, unlike many microfinance institutions in the area that have chosen to avoid the rural areas of the country due to the increased financial risk, CEPRODEL provides financial services to numerous clients in the agriculture and livestock industry. Supporting a borrower through CEPRODEL means contributing to the promotion and sustainability of this important work in Nicaragua.
