A loan of $1,000 helped to buy scales, sledgehammers, and other tools.

Jaime Antonio's story

Forty-four-year-old Jaime is hard-working and responsble with his household. In spite of his disability, he does not give up on trying to get ahead. Jaime has had a business buying and selling scrap materials, such as aluminium, iron, cans, plastic bottles and more, for four years. He has been running this business out of his home for four years and the earnings from sales allow him to cover household costs. Jaime owns his house, and lives there with his wife and two daughters, aged 18 and 15 years old each. Both hs daughters are studying. Jaime is applying for a loan in order to buy scales, sledgehammers, and other tools that he will use to continue with his business. This is Jaime's only source of income and, with it, he will be able to continue bringing home his daily bread.
