A loan of $550 helped to buy pigs to raise and fatten.

Pablo's story

Pablo is a 26 year-old farmer who has had to take care of his mother from a very young age. His father died, and so he had to take over the responsibility of the household. He is a farmer who raises and fattens animals and produces milk. He has 27 pigs, 2 producing dairy cows, and 15 chickens. He does this work on a rented farm where he lives with his mother and his little 4 year-old daughter. In order to generate the resources he needs to support his family he sells pigs to various butcher shops, and he sells the chickens and milk to his neighbors in the municipality where he lives.

His drive, dedication, and love for his family motivate him to get ahead, overcoming all of the difficulties and challenges that he is presented with. At this time, Pablo is requesting a loan to invest in pigs to raise and fatten, so that he can increase his livestock and take advantage of the space that he has available on his farm. In this way he will be able to satisfy the demand, which will increase in the coming Christmas season, and thereby increase the income that he receives from his work.

Pablo wants to continue to work very hard so that he can accomplish his dream of having his own, self-sustaining farm, enabling him to have greater financial stability so that he can continue to ensure his family's well-being and quality of life.
