A loan of $800 helped to pay off a loan she has and to buy more merchandise.

Soraida Estela's story

Soraida used to be employed on a flower farm but was unable to attend university because the work shifts were long. Because of this she decided to retire from that and started to sell merchandise via catalog in order to earn the necessary resources to cover her expenses and follow her dream of becoming a professional. Today, at the age of 27, she’s in the seventh semester in a Spanish Language Bachelor’s Degree program; she’s paid for her studies with profits from her activity. Ten months ago because of her high sales volume she became a team leader for the brand she sells and supervises 20 other saleswomen earning extra income as a result. She’s noted for being driven, optimistic and very hardworking. Her self-improvement spirit drives her to seek options that will lead to progress. At present, she’s looking for support from the loan to pay off a pending loan she has and to buy merchandise (perfume, cosmetics, accessories, facial and body creams) taking advantage of discounts and special promotions that will reduce her costs and increase her profit margin on each sale. Also, she’ll have a good variety of products on-hand for the approaching Christmas season when sales increase considerably. All of this will be reflected in an increase in her income that she’ll use to continue paying for her studies to reach her dream of becoming a professional and getting a good job which will mean better quality of life and well-being for her.
