A loan of $450 helped repair his flour grinder.

Ruziboy's story

Ruziboy lives and works in the Gissar region of Tajikistan, grinding and selling sacks of flour wholesale to various stores for the past 7 years. He is a bit of a workaholic and spends all his free time working, but would like to eventually settle down and make time for raising a family; he is currently 28 years old, unmarried and without children.

Recently, his flour-grinding machine broke down; to repair it, he is seeking a loan. As soon as his flour grinder is repaired, he will be able to start working again. He works very hard, and hopes to expand his business in the future by buying another flour grinder and opening his own flour store. By doing so, he will be financially secure enough to get married and provide for his future wife and children; to have the family he has been dreaming of.
