A loan of $3,075 helped a member to buy raw materials to make soap.

La Frontera Group's story

Señora Norma Judith is married. She is 35 years old. In school, she completed sixth grade. She has 3 children, one of whom is in school. She works making black soap, also known as car soap (this is used for bathing). She began this business with a little capital that she had saved up, and up to now she has 5 years of experience. She has the support of her husband.

She organized a group and is applying for a loan that will be used for the purchase of raw materials to make the soaps. In the future, she wants to increase her working capital, have her production grow, and sell wholesale.

The other members of the group work in business and in making black soap.
