A loan of $425 helped to purchase fabric to make clothes to sell during festivals.

Birane's story

Birane has been a tailor since 2005. He rents a store near the lending branch. He is married and the father of two children. His business consists of tailoring for both men and women. He has 3 machines but this is not enough because there is always a new fashion that requires additional machines to create.

This loan will help Birane purchase a new sewing machine and fabrics to be able to meet his customer's requests. He is in charge of the daily expenses for his family, and begins his day at 9am, ending his work at 8pm. He provides for the rent for his shop and the schooling costs for his 5-year-old child. He hopes in the future to expand his shop into other types of business.
