A loan of $725 helped to buy shoes and other merchandise to sell.

Llerme's story

Llerme, 43, is married with no children. She lives with her husband in her own house. Llerme’s work consists in selling shoes. She visits friends, neighbors and family members in her free time to sell them quality, stylish shoes. She’s been doing this for more than five years and has learned many things in this time that she uses to be better every day.

When she’s not working going from place to place she sells from home. She sometimes complements this activity with clothing sales. She gets everything she sells via catalog or buying at wholesale from stores that sell quality products. She works alone and feels very comfortable doing so for it allows her to have time to spend with her husband and not neglect her household chores. She’s doing very well because her sales are good but she’d like to enlarge the business extending it into some space at home.

This is her 3rd Kiva loan and she’s grateful to those who make access to credit possible to continue towards her objectives. She commits to make her payments punctually. She will use the requested 2,000 soles to buy a display case and a counter to sell shoes at home. She will also buy some lumber and nails to enlarge a space at home to use as a store.
