Pargev is 30 years old and lives with his small family in the village of Goght, which is in the Kotayk region. He is married and has a small daughter. His wife does not work but takes care of their house and child. Pargev is a very laborious farmer. He is engaged in bee keeping (he sells perfect and pure honey from his house), he has a greenhouse where he cultivates tomatoes that he plans to sell during winter months, a small fruit garden (peaches, nuts, etc) and a lot of interesting and new plans, which he hopes to realize with the help of Kiva lenders.

He is asking for a loan of 1.000.000 Armenian drams in order to establish a big garden on his plot of land where he will plant currants. He mentions that in their district, he will be the only farmer who will have such a garden.
