Safy is a regular customer of one of the local branches of the UIMCEC. It is the fifth time that she is requesting financial support from the UIMCEC, in order to buy some goods. Safy is actively involved in the sale of various products such as soap and perfume. She also sells charcoal and firewood, and she will be using her loan to buy this type of merchandise.

Safy has been working in this field since 2000, initially making a very small income. She always keeps herself busy and she contributes to the management of her family's daily expenses. If she has the means to do it, she would like to develop her activity. If her commercial activity is indeed doing well, she would like to diversify it by getting involved in poultry farming.
