Meerimgul's story

Meerimgul is 25 years old, married and together with her husband, she is raising two children. Meerimgul has a high school education. The main source of income for her family is raising of livestock, which she started 7 years ago with a purchase of cattle for 4,000 KGS. Thanks to the Meerimgul's persistent work, she now has one milking cow, two horses and six sheep. Her monthly income is 10,000 KGS.

In order to expand her business, Meerimgul applied to the microfinance bank of Bai Tushum and Partners for a loan of 70,000 KGS to purchase heifers for breeding. Part of the profits from her business, Meerimgul is planning to re-invest into purchasing additional cattle, and save the rest to eventually purchase a house.
