A loan of $200 helped to purchase additional lappa for her business.

Anna's story

Anna is 49 years old and lives in the Paynesville South, a populated area in Montserrado County. She is married to a doctor and they have 4 children between the ages of 24 and 32 years old. Only one is in school and living at home.

For the past three years she has been selling lappa (traditional clothes used by African women) in the local market. She makes a lot of profit and has more customers. She is requesting a loan to purchase additional lappa for her business. Her plans are to build a house and to educate her children.
