Antonio's story

Antonio is 65 years old. He is a businessperson with no formal education, who has worked from the time he was very young. Antonio is unmarried, and does not have children. He lives with his sisters and his nieces and nephews. For 40 years, Antonio has worked exchanging currency at the border. He is also a farmer.

Antonio is requesting this loan to pay to harvest his crop of corn, and to start his own currency exchange business. He is currently an employee, and would like to go out on his own.

Antonio plans to continue working to increase his capital, which he hopes to use offer people employment in his business. He says that he wants to bring jobs to his community.
