Grigor lives with his family in the village of Goght in the Kotayq region. He is married and has two children. His daughter is engaged and soon to be married, and his son is attending school.

Grigor has a nice orchard with apple, plum, peach and pear trees which bear rich and sweet fruit. He also has several nut trees. Grigor sells his harvest at the local wholesale market. Using mulberries, his wife makes sujukh, a popular Armenian sweet in which threaded walnuts are dipped in a syrup spiced with cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, etc., then dried. It sells out very quickly to local children and visitors to the village.

While he has his orchard, Grigor would like to start raising cattle. He is applying for a 700,000 AMD loan through Nor Horizon to build a barn and buy cattle. He would like to make more money for his family through this venture.
