A loan of $1,200 helped increase stock of grains for preparation of porridge and purchase bicycles.

Denise's story

At the age of 41, Madame Denise O. is married and the mother of four children. Her husband, having adopted a polygamous approach to marriage, is unable to properly care for his large family. Therefore, Mrs. O. went into the business of preparing and selling porridge and fruit juice; this has been her occupation for fifteen years, and it is highly profitable.

To meet the demands of her consistently growing clientele, she is requesting a loan to purchase bicycles and to hire sales representatives in order to mobilize her business. The remainder of the loan will go to increasing her stock of grain. This will allow her to make ends meet.
