José will use this loan to purchase fertilizer for a plot of land where he's planted corn. He expects a strong harvest and a good price when he sells the corn. This income will allow José to purchase a dairy herd that he can feed with the remaining corn.

José es agricultor y productor ganadero, tiene 40 años trabajando de esta manera agradece a sus padre por enseñarle todo lo que sabe. En el negocio del ganado estan involucrados todos sus hijos, pues de alguna manera le apoyan en los cuidos de los animales.

El préstamo sera utilizado para comprar fertilizantes para una parcela de Maíz que tiene establecido. Espera tene una buena cosecha y que el grano tenga buen precio para venderlo, comprar ganado lechero, con los restos del cultivo alimentar su ganado.

This loan is part of a CrediCampo project to help rural farmers living in extreme poverty plant basic grains to feed their families. Excess product is sold on the local market. These loans are smaller than the typical loans offered by this field partner, and guarantee requirements are also reduced. Individuals who receive this type of loan also get access to technical assistance, information on good environmental practices and increased access to farm inputs like fertilizer. This is considered a high risk loan due to the population and loan purpose, and CrediCampo is one of the very few institutions in El Salvador willing to working with these farmers.
