Oscar is 30 years old. Ge lives in his own home with his life's companion and their daughter. For three years, he has worked in agriculture, which is his main source of income. He grows güisquiles and sells them around the area where he lives. With what he earns from the harvests, he is able to pay for some of his household expenses. He wants to buy some materials he needs for his crops, such as fertilizer, pest control, etc. Since he doesn't have the necessary financial resources for such an investment he has made the decision to ask for a loan. This is the only way that he can continue with the growing process. Like every farmer, he put his confidence in agriculture because he has no other source of income and wants to get ahead doing the best he can with his crops. He hopes to obtain an abundant harvest that will allow him to keep bringing home the daily bread and pay off the loan.
