A loan of $500 helped to make improvements to his stall.

Noris's story

Noris, 67, is single living with his brother and three nephews in the municipality of Tela, Atlántida. He used to work as a photographer and six months ago decided to start selling fast-food like baleadas [tortilla filled with beans, eggs and cheese], turnovers, fried chicken with fried plantain and other snacks. The loan he’s requesting is for 10,000 Lempiras that he will use to make improvements to his locale. He’ll build a sidewalk to install tables and provide better customer service. His goal is to continue helping his family with the business.
