A loan of $1,075 helped to buy clothes.

Meyga's story

Meyga, 33, is a single mother of two children who are 12 and 14 years old respectively. She lives with her children in her own house. Her work consists in selling articles of clothing. She sells them to her friends, neighbors and family members. She started about 11 months ago and to date is doing very well. She works comfortably without neglecting her household chores. This season she’s offering dresses, shirts, blouses, jeans, skirts and other items especially for women. She used to sell juice and breakfasts in her yard.

She feels very good carrying out her work because her efforts are rewarded with the good income she earns but she needs additional help because she wants to prepare because she’s increasing the amount of merchandise. Fortunately, she’s been doing well for she sells much but lack of investment keeps her sales from rising considerably. Her main goal is to make the business grow and become prosperous.

This is her first Kiva loan and she’s grateful to all those who make her loan possible so she can work for better results. She will use the requested 3,000 soles to buy larger amounts of merchandise like dresses, shirts, pants and some other items requested by her distinguished clientele.
