Idalia's story

Idalia, 33, is a single mother of three children; she lives in the municipality of La Masica, Atlántida. She’s been selling fast food like baleadas (tortilla filled with beans, egg and cheese), turnovers, soft-drinks, lunches and breakfasts for ten years; she also sells vegetables.

The loan she’s asking for is for 20,000 Lempiras she’ll use to buy supplies like meats, vegetables, flour, rice, beans, eggs, lard and soft-drinks to make her meals in order to be able to sell more and earn higher profits. Her goal is to be able to move her family forward and cover their basic needs.
