Juan's story

Juan, 23, is a responsible young man living with his parents who he cares for with much love in the house he was born in. He works in a local school doing administrative chores starting very early in the morning. He started working many years ago and thanks to that he’s now studying and saving money to open his own business. He wants to continue with what he learned as a boy: agriculture or animal husbandry. He expects to reach his goals because he’s a young entrepreneur.

At present, he wants to invest in making some home improvements to his parents’ house. This is his first Kiva loan and he’s grateful for this progress opportunity and promises to be punctual with his payments. He enjoys belonging to his association where all are united and mutually supportive. Juan will use the 1,000 soles to buy supplies like cement, sand and bricks, among others to improve the house’s walls and make them stronger.
