Reydo's story

Reydo is 44 years old, is married to Ana, and has three children who live with him in a house he owns. He is a noble and sociable man. He has made a living from agriculture from the time he was young. He states that he helped his parents with the cultivation of their lands; he has liked this business since then. He is therefore now responsible for caring for his crops of potatoes, corn, peas and gladiola flowers.

He works happily in the countryside alongside his wife. He also has pack animals that are a lot of use to him in his business. “This month I'm picking the gladiola flowers, and the prices are good because of the religious festivals,” he says. His plans include starting two crops, one of peas and another of corn, as the rains have begun and he wants to take full advantage of them. He is asking for your support to achieve his objectives.

This is his fifth loan with Kiva, and in all of this time he as shown himself to be a responsible person who is committed to his association. Reydo will invest the 3,500 Peruvian nuevos soles in the purchase of organic fertilizer to nurture his crops.
