A loan of $750 helped to buy fish, shrimp, conches, lobster, fish fillets and other seafood to sell.

Orlando Antonio's story

Orlando is 37 years old and in a common-law marriage. He and his wife have two children. Orlando worked for several years as a taxi driver and a day laborer, but five years ago he decided to start his own business selling all kinds of seafood. He sells fish, shrimp, lobster, crab, conches and other seafood, both from his home and in the market.

Orlando is requesting his second loan from the field partner for 15,000 HNL to buy fish, shrimp, conches, lobster, fish fillets and other seafood to sell. He says that his plan is to open an additional location so that he can sell wholesale, which will help him to improve his family's living conditions.
