Cicilia's story

Cicilia is married and has seven children all of whom attend school. She owns a house that neither has electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees for her kids. For the past four years, she has owned a food stall business, where neighbours and town dwellers are her potential customers. With the Kshs 20,000 she wants to purchase stock of goods like sugar, rice, maize and wheat flour and cooking fat for sale. She dreams of expanding to a modern shop for the business.
