Patience's story

This is Patience, she is married and is a mother of six children, with one of them below the age of fifteen. They all live in a three bedroom apartment in Bamenda, Cameroon. She has faced many challenges in life like: inadequate finance to start up a business, sickness and educating her children. With this new loan she has requested she will invest in her business by buying different brands of drinks in bulk as well as cups, tables, chickens and feed for her farm. She thinks this business will succeed because, she has been doing it for a long time. The business has a good location which is great for her customers. In addition to that, the demand for chickens is high due to the increasing population. With this business activity, the community will benefit because transportation costs will be reduced for clients as they will not have to travel far for a drink, it will also help to create unity among the patrons and build a team spirit among them in this place to spend time together. With the profit from this loan, she will invest back into her business and take care of her children’s education and health.
