Meet 45-year-old Mbalu from Waterloo2, in the eastern area in Freetown. She is married with four children.

In 2001, Mbalu established her palm oil business. She began her business to generate her own source of income. She works at the business from 8:00am until 7:00pm, seven days per week. She says that the main challenge to her business is insufficient capital to expand her business.

Mbalu requires a loan to purchase more palm oil to expand her business. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to change her standard of living, and increase her business.

In the future, Mbalu plans to expand her business. She thanks you for your support.
