Anarkhan's story

Anarkhan is 44 years old. She and her husband have three children. In 2008, the couple started selling groceries in a shop they rented using 15,000 KGS as seed money. Since she has managed to grow her business and find regular customers, Anarkhan has an average monthly income of 15,000 KGS. Thanks to their hard work in the business, the couple were able to buy the store that they rented previously. In order to further improve and expand their business, Anarkhan approached the microfinance bank Bai Tushum and Partners for a loan of 130,000 KGS to buy food and beverages wholesale that they can later resell. Anarkhan plans to invest profits in her business to increase sales and to save money to send her children to university
