Kumrijon's story

Kumrijon lives in a village. Her village is far from the city. Three years ago, she began her own business, not in farming or livestock like other people but in trading food products. Since she lives in a rural area and there is little competition, it is easy for her to cope with the business. She purchases goods wholesale from the city market and sells them at retail prices at her shop. She is a sociable and kind woman and therefore she succeeds in making an individual approach to each customer.

She wants to expand her business and receive more income. For this purpose, she needs to increase her working capital. She is requesting a loan of 1,500 somoni to purchase food products such as bread, dairy products, meat products, and the like.
