Kayed's story

Kayed is a 21-year-old, single man who works in collecting and selling metal scrap. He has been working in this domain for two years. He puts so much effort into developing his business to make sure that it will provide him with a good income to cover his needs and improve his living.

Kayed is a Palestinian refugee who lives in a Palestinian camp and partially works to collect metal from the nearby villages.

He is acquiring a loan from Kiva partner, Al Majmoua Lebanese Association for Development, to continue building his own house, which is his dream to come true, so he can make his own small family in the future.

Kayed's future plan is to open his own metal scrap plot and to increase his capital.
