Gretchen's story

Gretchen is 25 years old and married, with two children. Gretchen works hard to provide for her family. She runs a general store in the Philippines and she has requested a PHP 13,000 loan through Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. (NWTF) to buy additional items to sell, like eggs, shampoo, soft drinks, chips, and groceries. Gretchen has borrowed and paid 20 loans from NWTF before this loan. She has been running the general store for six years and also earns an income from raising pigs. Gretchen aspires to save enough money, so she could afford to send her children to college.
