A loan of $1,050 helped to buy a pair of steers, to start a business fattening and selling cattle.

A`zamkhon's story

A'zamkhon is 40 years old and from the Hamadoni region. He is a father to two sons and one daughter. A'zamkhon has a degree in pedagogy and has been working for 10 years in a school as a teacher. His wife doesn't work and takes care of the home. As do all his neighbours, A'zamkhon keeps cattle for his family's personal needs. Now he is requesting a loan to buy a pair of steers and run a business fattening and selling big-horned cattle. The amount he is borrowing to start his business is small, since some breeds of cows and steers cost a lot. A'zamkhon has decided not to take a chance with such a large sum. First he wants to acquire the necessary experience in the business and then he plans to expand it. He hopes that this work will bring him and his family good revenue and that their living conditions will improve.
