A loan of $700 helped to buy tables, chairs, kitchen utensils, etc.

Maria Concepcion's story

María, 28, is married but separated at the moment. She lives with her children who are 11 and 4 years old. She’s been working full-time in her tortilla business for a year; her shop is located in a market.

To date, she’s had no difficulties with managing the business. She’s asking for a loan to buy tables, chairs, kitchen utensils, etc. to set up an eatery in the locale she already has to expand her business this way.

All her efforts are focused on generating more income, increasing the number of customers and to cover her family’s needs. Her dream is to see her children become professionals and have lives with fewer limitations.
