Isatu's story

Isatu is 40 years old and married with two children between the age of 10 and 16. She sells domestic products in Tombo in the Western rural area in Sierra Leone.

She's been in this business since after the war and sells lunch bowls and food containers within the community. She says that the main problem for her business is improper business location.

Isatu requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more lunch bowls and a variety of food containers for resale. She says that the extra income from this loan will help her increase her business and take care of her family. In the future, she would like to open a big shop. She is grateful for your support.
