A loan helped to buy a juki machine for her husband's tailoring business.

Saba's story

Saba is a 35-year-old woman. She is living in Lahore, Pakistan. She is the mother of 2 daughters and 3 sons, and all of her children are going to an ordinary government school. The financial condition of her family is not good; her husband is a tailor by profession and his work mostly consists of boom periods such as festivals.

Her husband conducts a tailoring business in which he provides services of sewing clothes for his customers. He is an expert in his profession and people like his stitched clothes a lot. Due to Eid-ul-Azha, the burden of work has increased and he is unable to complete his tasks alone. He appointed a new worker to his shop temporarily and need a sewing machine for the new worker.

Therefore, Saba requested a loan for her husband so that he can buy a new Juki machine to reduce his burden of work.

Saba is very thankful to Kiva and its field partner, BRAC Pakistan.
