Lekhram's story

Lekhram is 53 years old and has a family with four school-aged children. To pay the tuition of his children, he works as a watchman at night and during the day as a rice farmer. His wife works as a domestic worker. Lekhram received his first loan from Seva MFI in 2009. Since then, he received nine small loans and repaid those on time. The goal of Mr. and Mrs. Lekhram is to give their children a good education and future. For this, they need to expand their rice production so that they can have more income and savings. Lekhram needs a new loan of SRD 7,000 to invest in their rice production.
