Mary's story

Mary is a 50-year-old from Suna Migori which is located in the Western part of Kenya. She supports seven people in her family and is married to Mr. Alex. She has five children who are 17, 15, 14, 13 and 10 years old respectively.

She has a small-scale retail shop where she sells plastics. She has been doing this business for the last three years and gets a monthly income of KES 40,000. She has requested her fifth loan with KADET Ltd, which she will use to to increase her working capital. She will use the anticipated profit to expand the business.

Her dream is to expand the business so as to earn more income that will support her family and pay school fees for her children.
