A loan of $400 helped to purchase more stock of sandals.

Ester's story

Ester, aged 45, is married to Petrus, aged 49. They have three children: Ina, 26, a college student; Ronald, 19, who has just graduated from senior high school; and Reno, 8, who is in the second grade of elementary school.

In order to meet her family's needs, Ester runs a business selling sandals. She started the business five years ago using her own capital. Sometimes, mostly in December, she also runs a business selling ornamental plants but this business depends on customers’ orders.

Ester hopes to improve her sandal selling business by adding more stock of sandals in different sizes and patterns. Therefore, she requested an individual loan from TLM amounting to IDR 4,500,000. The loan will be spent to purchase 25 score (500) pairs of sandals. She hopes that the business will have a good impact on her family's income.
