Aiah's story

Meet 32-year-old Aiah from the Jui Eastern area in Freetown. He is married with one child, age 13. In 2008, Aiah established a spare parts business. He began his business because his family could no longer afford to pay his college fees. So, he raised money to start up his business. Before, he had worked as a cleaner. He works at the business 10 hours per day and seven days per week. He says that the main challenge to his business is lack of enough capital. Aiah requires a loan to buy engine oil, headlights and helmets to expand his business. He hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow him to increase his business and repay his loan. In the future; Aiah plans to build his own business structure and open another outlet. He thanks you for your support.
