Kinanasi is a business woman who is very hardworking. She is married with four school-going children. She lives in her own house that has neither electricity nor piped water.
Kinanasi has operated a charcoal selling business for the past two years. Her potential clients are neighbours and passersby. She dreams of establishing a wholesale shop in the future.
With the Kshs 40,000 she wants to purchase twenty sacks of charcoal for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access financial support to improve her business.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
